Greetings friends and neighbors!

You are invited to worship with us at St. Matthias United Methodist Church. Our congregation draws from Christians of varied ages and backgrounds and our services and activities are intended to meet the needs of everyone. We look forward to meeting you on Sunday.

When to arrive
Sunday Worship services begin at 8:45 and 11 a.m. We have Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45am. Ushers at the entrance to the sanctuary will be happy to assist you in finding our Sunday School rooms and other facilities (like coffee!). We suggest that you plan to arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to allow for parking and finding your way around.

What to wear
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are happy to welcome you.

Those with special needs
St. Matthias provides assisted listening receivers, found in the basket on the shelf at the sanctuary door. Ushers will assist you. NO steps are required to access any part of the church. Large print bulletins and/or hymnals available upon request.  Just ask an usher.

What to expect
You will find people of all ages and backgrounds, gathered to worship God and connect with one another through meaningful worship. You will find a thought-provoking sermon that brings the message of the Bible into your everyday life. You will find the comfort of the Holy Spirit, but also the call to serve God through serving all God’s children.

What we believe
We are a congregation of The United Methodist Church. We are a Christian church and believe that all can have relationships with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God’s only son) who invites us to follow him. If you are interested in exploring faith then please come join us in worship.

Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We are not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. There are various activities for different groups going on all week. Check the Calendar or Contact Us for more information about ongoing activities.
