Greetings friends and neighbors!

Baptism

You are invited to worship with us at St. Matthias United Method Church. Our congregation draws from Christians of varied ages and backgrounds and our services and activities are intended to meet the needs of everyone. We look forward to meeting you on Sunday.

When to arrive
Sunday Worship services begin at 8:45 and 11 a.m. Our main Sunday School time is 9:45. Ushers at the entrance to the sanctuary will be happy to assist you in finding our Sunday School rooms and other facilities (like coffee!). We suggest that you plan to arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to allow for parking and finding your way around.

What to wear
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. You are accepted as you are.

Those with special needs
St. Matthias provides an Assistive Listening System (amplified earphones and telecoil loops) for hearing impaired members of the congregation. For those members or visitors who need help in hearing, consider trying one of the assised listening receivers, found in the basket on the shelf at the sanctuary door. Ushers will assist you. NO steps are required to access any part of the church.

What to expect
You will find friendly people genuinely searching for relationship with one another and Jesus Christ; a worship service full of inspiring music; time to focus upon God in your life; an engaging sermon time; a great place for kids of all ages and smiles. We value getting to know one another and serving Christ together in tangible ways. Whether you are new to “the church scene” or quite familiar with it, our aim is to help you grow in Christ through relationships, study, and encouragement to serve the needy in our world.

What we believe
We are a congregation of The United Methodist Church. We are a Christian church and believe that all can have relationships with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God's only son) who invites us to follow him. If you are interested in exploring faith then please come join us in worship.

Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We are not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. There are various activities for different groups going on all week. Check the Calendar or Contact Us for more information about ongoing activities.
