Reverend Walter W. Westbrook
Born in Chattanooga, TN, Walt has lived in eight states. However, since being ordained a minister in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1980, he's lived in Virginia.
Walt received his B.A. in Music History and Theory from Emory and Henry College (Emory, VA) in 1977. Then he headed up to Drew Theological School in Madison, NJ to work on a Master of Divinity degree, which he received in 1980.
Walt has been married to Betty since 1978. She has a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has worked in a variety of situations as a case worker and counselor. They have a daughter, Cassie, who teaches elementary school music near Lynchburg, VA.
Walt has been pastor the last eleven years at Jamieson Memorial UMC in Clarksville, Va.
